It's May, and technically our little Annie won't be celebrating her birthday for another month and a half, but we decided to give her a BIG surprise. Since we'll be away for the summer and Annie won't know kids very well by the time it's her birthday her daddy had the best idea: throw her a surprise birthday party! That's just what we did....the day before we moved.
This lucky gal had thirteen of her fun friends come and surprise her well before her real birthday. It was somewhat tricky since what was supposed to be and all outdoor swim party was rained out and it turned into an indoor games and chaos (but fun) celebration.
The sun did come out just in time for cupcakes and icecream (something I'd call "divine intervention") and so we all took it outside and sunbathed a bit while eating our birthday treats.
We love you Annie! Can't wait to celebrate with you again, in another month and half.
That party will be a little bit more undercontrol....but clearly not as much fun. :)
